Emily & Florian's Austrian/Jewish Mashup NoLita Wedding

Emily and Florian are a true testament of uniting two cultures through love. Their wedding at Public in NoLita contained so many elements of Emily's Jewish heritage and Florian's Austrian background that it was so wonderful to see each of them honoring their unique identities while coming together to share them with everyone. Not only did they dance the hora, but Florian's brother surprised them with a medley of traditional folk songs from Austria which everyone enjoyed tremendously. Even the guests chose to honor the various cultures, and many of Florian's relatives came decked out in traditional garb. One fun tradition on Florian's side was to have a girl carry around a keg of Schnapps and pour shots for all of the wedding guests, which was certainly one of the favorite honored traditions of the night. To give their celebration a more personal note, Emily and Florian served signature drinks named after their online handles that they used when they first met on the internet, a tribute to their beautiful love story. From the toasts and speeches to the endless thanks, you could really feel the love and support that Emily and Florian had from their family and friends. This was an incredible wedding and we loved sharing in this diverse celebration!
